Bruxism/Teeth Grinding

Bruxism, also termed teeth grinding, is the excessive grinding of the teeth and/or clenching of the jaw. It is an oral parafunctional activity, it is unrelated to normal function such as eating or or talking. Bruxism is a common problem in the general population. Several symptoms are commonly associated with bruxism, including hypersensitive teeth, aching jaw muscles, headaches, tooth wear, damage to dental restorations and damaged teeth.
